The Role – Senior Data Analyst

Location: Australia (Remote and Hybrid Options Available)

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst who thrives on uncovering deep insights, transforming raw data into meaningful narratives, and driving strategic decision-making. You’ll work with cutting-edge analytics tools, translating large datasets into powerful insights that influence business outcomes.

This role blends technical expertise, business acumen, and storytelling. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making, enhance reporting capabilities, and ensure stakeholders have access to timely, actionable intelligence.

Your Impact

  • Transform complex data into business insights – Leverage advanced analytics, data visualisation, and storytelling to support strategic decisions.
  • Optimise reporting and dashboards – Design interactive visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to enhance data accessibility.
  • Drive automation and efficiency – Use SQL, Python, or R to streamline reporting and data workflows.
  • Ensure data quality and governance – Maintain clean, structured, and reliable datasets to support accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Partner with business leaders – Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends – Continuously explore new analytics methodologies, AI advancements, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data querying, transformation, and automation.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling insights.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Snowflake).
  • Exceptional communication skills – Able to tell powerful stories with data.
  • A passion for problem-solving and using data to drive business impact.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/ML techniques and predictive analytics.
  • Exposure to big data platforms like Databricks or Apache Spark™.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
